Do you only provide airbrush makeup?No, we also provide traditional makeup. However, the pricing does not change. Most brides prefer airbrush makeup as it is sweat proof and smudge proof, which is perfect for summer weddings.

What does a trial consultation include?A trial consultation allows the bride to create her desired look for her wedding day. Prior to the trial, each client is required to send an email with their hair and/or makeup inspiration photos. During this session, we will provide one full-face makeup and/or hair look. If additional looks are requested, another trial will need to be scheduled.

How long does the trial consultation take?Our trial consultations typically take between 45 minutes to 1 hour per service. If you have a hair and makeup consultation, we allot 2 hours total.

Do I have to schedule a trial consultation prior to the wedding day?The trial consultation is optional and completely at the discretion of the bride.

Is there a cost for the trial consultation?Yes, we do charge for the trial consultation. This fee is a separate fee from the wedding day and is not deducted from or credited to any other service. Our fees are listed under our "wedding rates."

Do you all come to our location on the wedding day?Yes, we do travel to the bride's location. We do charge a travel fee that varies depending on the location.

Is there a minimum required to book services?We do require a minimum of 5 people (5 makeup and 5 hair applications) to book wedding day services.

Am I required to have both hair and makeup services?Our services are optional. We do not require that you have both. We do require a minimum of 5 applications for either service you book.

What do I need to do on the wedding day to prepare for hair and makeup?Make sure that you do not wash your hair the morning of your wedding. Also make sure that your hair is dry. We do ask that you come with a clean, moisturized face.

How long will services take on the wedding day?The service will take a minimum of 40 minutes per service. If you are getting hair and makeup done, you will need to allot at least 1 hour.

Will you all remain on-site for touch-ups?We do not remain on-site after the ceremony. However, we will remain on-site for an additional fee for each hour per stylist.

What forms of payment do you accept?We accept a cashier's check or credit card. There is a 3.5% service fee added to all electronic payments. For electronic payments, an invoice will be sent.

Do you accept Zelle, Venmo or Cash App payments?No we currently do not accept Zelle, Venmo or Cash App payments.

What is required to book your services?We require a $100 non-refundable retainer along with a signed contract to book services.

Am I able to change the number of services after I sign a contract?Yes, you are able to make changes (including adding or removing services) up to 31 days prior to the event date. This is also the last day changes can be made that will affect the final invoice. Changes made inside the 30-day window will have no effect on the invoice - with the exception of adding services or changing get-ready/service location. The minimum terms of your contract will be locked in as of 30-days leading to the event date.

What is your cancellation policy?Cancellations must be made (31) days prior to your reserved date or you will be responsible for the total amount of services agreed upon in this contract. If the payment is not received, The Makeup Addict reserves the right to send the balance to a collections agency or file a claim in small claims court. Please note that any money previously paid will not be refunded.
